Great Review in Newcity Art

Hello Friends,

We are pleased to share the wonderful review of the current exhibition, Entanglement. Frank Geiser for Newcity Art writes, “Spending time with quiet, contemplative artworks is often a liberating experience. This helps me come to terms with our world of increasingly instantaneous expectations and horrifying sociopolitical atrocities; perseverance is made easier through honest comfort.”

The gallery is open this evening (Friday) from 5-7 pm, Sat. 12-4 pm. The show runs through July 20, 2024.

Laleh Motlagh received her MFA from the University of Illinois Chicago and teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has shown nationally and internationally and has received numerous awards and recognitions.

Up Next: Nicholas Sistler “TORQUE”

Nicholas Sistler is a Chicago artist with a long track record of great work. He has shown widely and is in numerous private collections. He received his BFA degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and his works have appeared in more than 160 exhibitions, including 30 solo shows. The opening of his show will be on Friday, September 6. This new exhibition TORQUE will feature the first representational artworks Sistler has made in a decade, as he moves from the abstract works of recent years. Mark your calendar!
