Pieces Too Short to Save: A Survey of Contemporary College runs through May 30, 2026.

The show features ten collage artists, including Tony Fitzpatrick, who passed away on October 11, 2025. Tony was an artist, poet, and actor who was well known in Chicago and beyond. Most of the artists in the show worked with him or were mentored by him and there are several pieces in the show made in tribute to him.

Tony Fitzpatrick - Works for Sale

We have four beautiful prints from “The Bible Series” in the show, made in 1998. We also have two of Tony’s original collages on view which are NFS. The prints are five-color lithographs drawn by the artist and printed at Tamarind Institute on two layers of paper using the chine collé technique. We have a set of 4 framed prints on view that are being sold as a set, all #19/25, and we have individual unframed prints from this series that are being sold separately. “The Big Glue” Digital Collage

This wonderful digital collage was created by Nellie Seigel in the weeks after Tony passed away. She worked beside Tony for years as a studio assistant, in addition to being an amazing artist in her own right. This print is on display in the exhibition and also is for sale on our website in three sizes. This will be a limited edition print. Orders will be taken through May 31 at 11:59 pm. Then the print edition number will be set and the artist will make the prints and sign and number them.

In the Gallery Annex in conjunction with this show we have work by Mirentxu Ganzarain, Loralyn Kumlin, Jack Poker, and Tom Robinson.
