Two events this weekend and upcoming events

Two special events are scheduled this weekend to celebrate the Goldilocks Moment exhibition. On Friday night, Jan 30 at 7:30 pm, The Feast Theatre Collective presents a reading of "Some Other Woman Like Me," a new play by Katherine Swan and directed by Kaeli Meno. A special pre-show activation in the gallery conceived by dado will happen from 6:30 - 7:30 pm
On Saturday afternoon, Jan 31 from 2-3:30 pm, join artists from the Goldilocks Moment show in conversation with Molly O’Donnell. The panel will include Anthony Adcock, Marco Ferrari, Hannah Givler, Stacee Kalmanovsky, Paul Somers, and Jay Wolke. The other two artists in the show also will be present, dado and Maymay Jumsai.
Also, we are excited to debut the solo show by Jack Poker, a Chicago artist who came to our attention as we were planning a group collage show with Tony Fitzpatrick. Tony recommended Jack, and when we saw his work we immediately offered him a solo show. The Jack Poker exhibition will be February 20 - March 21, 2026; the Opening Reception is Fri., Feb 20. 6-9 pm.
And join us for this very special collage show, Pieces Too Short to Save: A Survey of Contemporary Collage, featuring a small group of 10 artists, April 8 - May 30, 2026. The family of Tony Fitzpatrick, the late, great, beloved Chicago artist, actor, and friend to so many, has generously agreed to include his work in the show that we were planning with Tony when he passed unexpectedly in October. We support the Nationwide General Strike that is being called for Jan 30. Feel free not to shop on that day, but please do come out and be in community at SoNa Chicago with like-minded folks who are in solidarity with the people of Minnesota and join in the demand ICE Out of Everywhere.
