Two Opening Receptions: April 8 and April 11 from 6-9 pm
Dear Friends,
Join us for a very special exhibition honoring the late Tony Fitzpatrick, Pieces Too Short to Save: A Survey of Contemporary College, April 8 - May 30, 2026. The show features ten collage artists, including Tony Fitzpatrick. We were working with Tony on this show when he passed away on October 11. Tony Fitzpatrick was a collage artist, printmaker, poet, actor, and friend to so many. Tony gave us the title for the show and selected many of the artists saying, “they are among the best.” He approved all the artists for the show. Most of the artists worked with him or were mentored by him and there are several pieces in the show made in tribute to him. His family has graciously agreed to continue with the show and have provided some beautiful works for the show. Michele, Max, and Gaby Fitzpatrick will be at the receptions on Wed. and Sat. We will have a short program honoring Tony at 7:30 pm at the Saturday reception to include comments by artists who worked with him and a reading of his poetry by Max and Gaby Fitzpatrick.
